Gypsum Resources, LLC (“Gypsum Resources,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit gypsumresources.com (including our carrier/driver sign-up pages such as gypsumresources.com/haul/) (the “Site”), respond to our advertisements, submit a form, or communicate with us; how we use and share that information; the choices you have; and your rights under applicable law.

By using the Site, submitting a form, or contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit your information.

1. Who We Are

Gypsum Resources, LLC operates a gypsum mining and supply business and also recruits trucking carriers and drivers to haul our freight.

For privacy questions or requests, use the details in “How to Contact Us” (Section 17).

2. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly

When you contact us, request a quote, or submit a form on the Site, including our carrier/driver sign-up form, we may collect:

  • Name and business/company name
  • Phone number
  • Email address (where provided)
  • Mailing, shipping, or home-base location (e.g., your city/region)
  • Trucking and operational details you provide, such as MC/USDOT number, equipment type, number of trucks you can commit, loads per week, and your preferred method of contact (text, call, or email)
  • The contents of your message, inquiry, or application
  • Any other information you choose to provide

b. Information From Advertising Lead Forms (Meta Instant Forms)

We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). If you respond to one of our ads and complete a Meta lead form (“Instant Form”), Meta provides us the information you submit or that Meta pre-fills at your direction, typically your name, phone number, email address, and your answers to our questions (such as equipment type, home base, and the number of trucks you can commit). We receive these leads through Meta’s Leads Center and by email.

c. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our partners automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • IP address and general (city/region-level) location
  • Device type, operating system, and browser type
  • Pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, referring/exit pages, and time spent
  • Date and time of your visit
  • Unique identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our third-party partners use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, and web beacons) to:

  • Operate and secure the Site
  • Remember your preferences
  • Understand how visitors use the Site (analytics)
  • Deliver, measure, and improve advertising, including advertising on Meta platforms and Google

Specifically, the Site currently uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (cookies such as _ga) to measure Site usage, and Google Ads conversion and linker cookies (such as _gcl_au) to measure whether our Google advertising led to a visit or inquiry. Google’s use of this data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through cookie controls on the Site. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions. See “Advertising Choices and Opt-Outs” (Section 9).

4. Meta (Facebook) Business Tools and Advertising

We use Meta Business Tools provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”), which may include the Meta Pixel, the Conversions API, and Meta Lead Ads / Instant Forms. These tools help us understand how visitors interact with our Site and ads, deliver and measure advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and collect carrier/driver leads.

What is collected and shared with Meta: When you visit the Site or interact with our ads, these tools may collect and send to Meta information such as your IP address, cookie identifiers, device and browser information, the pages and content you view, and actions you take (for example, viewing our carrier page or submitting a form). When you complete a Meta Instant Form, the information you provide is collected by Meta and shared with us.

Why we use them: To measure advertising effectiveness, to show relevant ads to you and similar audiences (including remarketing to people who have visited our Site or engaged with our ads), to generate carrier/driver leads, and to improve our marketing.

Who receives the data: Meta Platforms, Inc., located in the United States, which processes the information under its own Privacy Policy. Depending on the processing and applicable law, Meta may act as our service provider, a separate controller, or a joint controller with us.

Your choices: You can control how Meta uses your information for advertising through your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising using the tools in “Advertising Choices and Opt-Outs” (Section 9).

5. SMS/Text Messaging Program: Terms & Opt-In Policy

Gypsum Resources operates a text-messaging (SMS) program to communicate with carriers, drivers, and business contacts. This section describes how the program works, how you opt in and out, and how we handle your mobile information. It applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

a. Program description. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Gypsum Resources and its authorized representatives about hauling opportunities, load offers and details, dispatch and scheduling, payment/onboarding, and related account or service messages. Message content may be sent manually or by automated means.

b. How you opt in (consent). You provide your consent to receive texts when you:

  • submit your mobile number through a form on our Site (for example, the carrier/driver sign-up form or a Meta lead form) and indicate text as an acceptable or preferred contact method; or
  • text one of our published numbers first (for example, texting “Lynn” at the number shown on the Site); or
  • give your number to a representative and agree to be texted.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of being offered any load or engagement. You represent that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

c. Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your activity and our operational needs (for example, active load coordination will involve more messages).

d. Cost. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Gypsum Resources does not charge for the messages, but your carrier may.

e. How to opt out. You can cancel the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending texts, except that you may still receive individually-directed operational replies if you continue to text us. To rejoin, opt in again as described above.

f. Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@gypsumresources.com or 702.902.0157.

g. Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

h. Privacy of your mobile information (important). We do not sell your mobile phone number, and we do not share your mobile opt-in consent or SMS-related information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share your mobile information only with service providers who help us operate the messaging program (for example, our SMS/communications platform) and only as needed to deliver the service on our behalf, or as required by law. This “no-sharing for marketing” commitment applies to the mobile opt-in data collected through the SMS program.

i. What we collect and retain. We collect and retain your mobile number, your messages to and from us, your opt-in and opt-out records, and metadata about our communications, in order to operate the program, respond to you, and keep business records.

6. Email Communications & Anti-Spam Policy (CAN-SPAM)

Gypsum Resources sends email to carriers, drivers, customers, and business contacts. We are committed to complying with the federal CAN-SPAM Act and follow these practices for our commercial and marketing email:

a. How we obtain your email. We collect your email when you submit it through a form on the Site, complete a Meta lead form, correspond with us, or otherwise provide it to us in the course of doing business.

b. What we send. We may send transactional and operational email (for example, responses to your inquiry, load and dispatch details, onboarding and payment information) and, from time to time, marketing email about our services and opportunities.

c. Our CAN-SPAM commitments. For our commercial email, we will:

  • Not use false or misleading sender names, “From” addresses, or subject lines; headers will accurately identify Gypsum Resources as the sender.
  • Clearly identify marketing messages as advertising where required.
  • Include a valid physical postal address for Gypsum Resources.
  • Provide a clear way to opt out (unsubscribe) of future marketing email in every marketing message.
  • Honor opt-out requests promptly, within 10 business days as required by law, and not sell or transfer the email addresses of people who opt out (except for compliance purposes such as suppression).

d. How to opt out of marketing email. Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email info@gypsumresources.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line. Please note we may still send you non-marketing/transactional email necessary to respond to you or conduct our business (for example, replies to your inquiry or load details you requested).

e. Report a complaint. If you believe you received email from us in violation of this policy or the CAN-SPAM Act, contact us at info@gypsumresources.com or 702.902.0157 and we will investigate and address it. Include the offending message and headers if you can, so we can identify it.

f. Third parties. We do not authorize third parties to send commercial email on our behalf using deceptive headers or subject lines, and we do not buy or sell email lists for spam.

7. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide quotes, products, and customer support
  • Evaluate and contact carriers/drivers about hauling opportunities, loads, and scheduling
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • Analyze Site and advertising performance
  • Deliver, personalize, and measure advertising, including on Meta platforms and Google
  • Communicate with you by email, phone, and text about products, services, and business matters
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
  • Protect the rights, property, and safety of Gypsum Resources, our customers, carriers, and others

8. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information as follows:

  • Service providers: vendors that host the Site (SiteGround), provide analytics, deliver our web forms and email, manage email/text/call communications, or otherwise support our operations, bound to protect the information.
  • Advertising and analytics partners: including Meta and Google, to deliver and measure advertising and understand usage (see Sections 3 and 4).
  • Affiliates and business partners: where needed to coordinate hauling and logistics, such as a receiving facility, customer, carrier, or insurance or compliance provider involved in a shipment you are part of.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Certain sharing with advertising partners such as Meta may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some U.S. state privacy laws. See “Your Privacy Rights” (Section 10) for how to opt out.

Mobile/SMS exception: Notwithstanding the above, we do not share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. See Section 5(h).

9. Advertising Choices and Opt-Outs

You can control interest-based advertising through:

  • Meta ad settings: adjust ad preferences within your Facebook and Instagram account settings.
  • Google ad settings: adssettings.google.com, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on noted in Section 3.
  • Digital Advertising Alliance: optout.aboutads.info
  • Network Advertising Initiative: optout.networkadvertising.org
  • Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and send “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Where required by law, we treat GPC as an opt-out of sale/sharing.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to: know and access the personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion; request correction; opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including certain advertising data shared with Meta); limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out. We honor these rights as required by applicable law.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, and to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. International Users and U.S. Data Transfers

The Site is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
